Scenes from Acadiana

I try to travel to all of the different sites we have here in Cajun country. I'll gradually be adding more and more sites so drop by often! Some photos are very clear --- those are the ones I use the 35MM and scanner far. Others are not as clear but still good. Those are using a Video Snappy and a Sharp Viewcam.

Acadian Village

It is a replica of a Cajun village in the 1800's. It is a beautiful place and was the setting of the movie, "Belizaire the Cajun" by Glen Pitre. It starred Armand Asante. It is worth a visit to see how small south Louisiana communities looked during the last century.
